Oregon Access Scholarship at Willamette College

Willamette University is proud to offer the Oregon Access Scholarship at Willamette College, a full-tuition scholarship designed to make a Willamette education more accessible for Oregon students.

Full Tuition Could Be Within Reach

For eligible Oregon residents, the scholarship covers remaining full-time tuition costs after eligible federal and state grants are applied. Student loans are not considered grant aid and are not included in the scholarship calculation.

At Willamette College, you can choose from more than 50 academic programs, combine your interests across disciplines, and connect what you learn in the classroom with research, internships and other hands-on experiences. With the Oregon Access Scholarship, a Willamette education may be more within reach than you think.

To qualify, students must:

  • Be a resident of the state of Oregon.
  • Submit an application for admission by November 1, 2026, and all required application materials by November 13, 2026.
  • Submit the 2027-2028 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA) to Willamette University by December 1, 2026.
  • Demonstrate an adjusted gross family income of less than $80,000 annually based on information submitted through the FAFSA or ORSAA.*
  • Have a Student Aid Index (SAI) of $0 or less.
  • Be admitted to Willamette College for fall 2027.

Important Deadlines

  • November 1, 2026

    Submit your application for admission to Willamette College.

  • November 13, 2026

    Submit all required application materials.

  • December 1, 2026

    Submit your 2027-2028 FAFSA or ORSAA to Willamette University (note that the FAFSA opens on October 1 for students entering in 2027).

*The scholarship amount is capped at the cost of full-time tuition after eligible federal and state grants are applied. Scholarship funds may be used toward other eligible educational expenses beyond tuition. Student loans are not considered grant aid and are not included in the scholarship calculation. The Student Aid Index (SAI) on the FAFSA/ORSAA must be $0 or less. In most cases, families with an adjusted gross income of less than $80,000 annually will have an SAI of $0 or less; certain uncommon circumstances may produce different results.
