Jessica Getman
Jessica Getman is one of five Retail Vice Presidents at Brown & Brown. She leads offices in Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington and oversees offices in Bend and Medford, Oregon as well as Seattle and Tacoma, Washington.
Jessica joined Brown & Brown’s Denver, Colorado, office in 2006, where she served in various sales and leadership positions, including Vice President. She was named Executive Vice President of Colorado Operations in 2008 and oversaw four offices there until moving to Portland, Oregon in 2012 with her family. Jessica led Fullerton & Company, a division of Brown & Brown, as Vice President and was named President in 2013 when Pacific Northwest agency Beecher Carlson joined the Brown & Brown family. Since then, she has played an essential role expanding Brown & Brown’s footprint in the northwest.
Jessica earned her B.S. in Finance from Bowling Green State University. She was honored as one of Portland Business Journal’s 2015 Forty Under 40 honorees, one of Business Insurance’s Women to Watch in 2018 and one of Portland Business Journal’s Women of Influence in 2020 and Executives of the Year in 2023. Jessica is also an alumna of Portland Business Alliance’s Leadership Portland Class of 2014-2015.
Jessica founded and co-leads Brown & Brown’s The Power of She (Women’s) Teammate Resource Group, a network of teammates from across the company who share or support a common identity. She is currently Chair Emeritus of Portland Metro Chamber’s (PMC) Board of Directors, having served on Executive Committee roles from 2021-2023. Jessica has also been PMC’s A Place with No Ceiling Chair since 2018. Jessica joined Summit Bank’s inaugural Portland Board of Advisors in 2021. She sat on Portland Children’s Museum’s Board of Directors from 2016 to 2021, including serving two terms as Chair.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, entertaining at her home, dining with friends, hiking, running, skiing, and traveling.
