Exercise and Health Science major interns at UCLA

Exercise and Health Science major Katie Lee ’19 joins the Department of Bioengineering at UCLA for a paid internship over the summer of 2018.  Her work focus is on nerve regeneration and muscle atrophy prevention. Katie uses her interdisciplinary background to culture stem cells, perform nerve stimulations and measure certain aspects of gait biomechanics.  She plans to use this opportunity to further develop her skills in bioengineering. Way to go Katie!
