Overview
The AVerCAM 520 Pro Advanced is a pan-tilt-zoom camera mounted on a tripod in the back of many of our medium and large teaching spaces. Using a remote control, an instructor can control the focus of the camera to highlight a specific whiteboard, focus on a student presenting from a specific part of the room, and use presents to zoom-and-focus on specific pre-designated locations around the space.
Uses
This is a general purpose back-of-room camera providing remote participants with a view of the classroom, on-site attendees, and an unobstructed view of the on-site presenter. It can focus with high resolution on whiteboards and chalkboards or simply act as an overall view of the room from a typical student perspective. The camera can swivel 270 degrees making any part of the room visible via the remote.
