Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Requirements

Requirements: 54-56 Credits + 6-7 Lab Credits

Core Chemistry: 16 Credits + 4 Lab Credits

Core Biology: 14 Credits

Core Biochemistry & Molecular Biology: 12 Credits (+ 1 lab credit for some electives)

Seminar: 2 Credits

  • One course series chosen from either:

Integrated Labs: 6 Credits + 2 Lab Credits

Capstone Experience: 4-6 Credits

  • Either the Chemistry Capstone, including the two courses below:

    • CHEM431 Advanced Topics in Biochemistry

    • CHEM347W Advanced Experimental Biochemistry

  • Or the Biology Capstone:
