2025 Pre-Orientation Program: JumpStart: Catalyst Program

Willamette University is excited to partner with LeaderShape to bring an inspiring pre-orientation Catalyst Program to our new students on the Salem campus. This dynamic program will help you develop your unique path, connect with groups and causes you care about, and create a plan to become a catalyst for yourself and your community. Start something extraordinary before the semester even begins!

Through small-group dialogue, large-group interaction, and personal reflection, you’ll explore powerful questions that move you toward meaningful action:

Who do I want to be?
How can I connect with others?
What path might I take for a fulfilling future?

Discover your authentic path
Connect with causes and communities you care about
Develop a plan to be a catalyst for yourself and others

You’ll join a supportive community of fellow new students who are also eager to jump start their leadership journey. Whether you're passionate about making change, seeking connection, or just starting to explore your values and goals, this program offers the perfect way to begin—before the
beginning.

Program Details & Registration Information:

Registration Fee: $195 (includes all program materials and meals)
Please note: Financial Aid is available—please indicate your interest in aid when registering.
Additionally, there are no refunds once payment is received.

Key Dates:

Monday, June 16: Priority application deadline to JumpStart
Friday, June 27: Payments due for JumpStart
Monday, August 18: move in (residential students) and welcome program (evening)/ dinner together in Goudy Commons
Tuesday, August 19: JumpStart Program: Catalyst
