Pro Bono Awards

The Pro Bono Awards recognizes all of our students who have donated their time and efforts in providing pro bono services during their time at Willamette Law. Participating first-year law students performed at least 10 hours of community service and second-year and third-year law students served at least 30 hours total and at least 20 of those hours were for legal services. The highest honor, the Rudy E. Park Award was named after Colonel Park, JD'47 who served in the Judge Advocate General Corps in San Francisco and worked as an attorney and district judge pro-tem in Multnomah and Washington counties. Park was the founding member of ELVIS - Emeritus Lawyers Volunteering in Service at Marion-Polk Legal Aid, and an enthusiastic contributor to his community.
