- How much does it cost?
The cost is $599 for a six-week class and includes all resource materials through our learning portal. Willamette University alums, Global HR Consortium and The HR Roundtable member companies can enroll at $499.
- What is the cohort concept?
Peer learning is stimulated through the cohort model as learners learn as much from each other as from their instructor. Cohort learning works best with smaller groups of learners (15 to 25 people). That’s why enrollment in this class is limited to maximum 25 people per session. Learning together with people with shared interest and similar personal development goals also provides great opportunities for professional networking.
- Do I need to take the bronze, silver, gold classes in that order?
Yes, the Leadership for Managers program is designed in a progressive manner to cumulatively integrate the knowledge of the previous modules into the learning experience. But, you can join a subsequent cohort and do not need to complete all three badges in one academic year.
- How do I earn the badge?
To earn your badge you must complete the pre-work (six entry tickets), attend the Zoom (six) sessions on camera, and complete the (six) post-class assignments.
- What if I can’t attend a Zoom session?
Since this is a participatory cohort model, you should register for this program with the intention of participating synchronously in all of the six consecutive weekly zoom sessions. But, we acknowledge that things do happen! In case you have to miss a class session (maximum of one out of 6 allowed to earn your badge), you may request a Zoom recording from the instructor in advance of the session.
- Do I need to sign up for the three badges?
No, you only register for one badge at a time—in that order: bronze, silver and gold!
