Program Overview

There are three levels in the Leadership for Managers program to be taken in order: Bronze, Silver and Gold Badges.

The program is presented "live online” in an interactive cohort format where learners can build relationships with each other. To earn a badge, learners must meet the following expectations each week for six consecutive weeks:

  • Read a module and prepare a short entry ticket (1 hour)
  • Attend and participate in a one-hour synchronous online class with your
    cohort(1 hour)
  • Complete an application exercise individually or with a cohort member (1
    hour)

Bronze-level badge (modules 1 through 6)

In the bronze-level program, we set the stage for your lifelong learning in the new world of work and the worker, show you how to approach managerial situations from three different perspectives (strategic, political, and cultural lenses) and focus on the diverse workforce.

Silver-level badge (modules 7 through 12)

In the silver-level program, we explore an expanded set of critical skills required to manage and being managed (teamwork, motivation, decision-making, data analytics, processes, projects, and talent).

Gold-level badge (modules 13 through 18)

In the gold-level program, we focus on broader organizational issues (such as performance management, day-to-day management, change, ethics, and self-management) to develop your Awesome Manager skills into an Awesome Leader.
