SSRD intent to present form is live

Feb. 13 is the deadline for students to indicate intent to present at Student Scholarship Recognition Day.

Student Scholarship Recognition Days (SSRD) is held each spring to celebrate the exemplary scholarship and creativity of Willamette University students. It is an event for students to share the fruits of their research, to present musical, theatrical, and dance performances, and to display works of art to fellow students, faculty, family and friends.

Regular classes are not held on the day of SSRD as a way of honoring the extraordinary accomplishments of our students and demonstrating Willamette University’s institutional commitment to student scholarship.

The students whose work is presented at SSRD have been supported in various ways. Some have worked directly with members of the faculty as research assistants or on student-faculty collaborative projects. Others have designed and conducted their own research, often during summer break or throughout their senior year for a senior thesis or capstone research project. Others have created original works in fine and performing arts.

Students should submit their name and working title for their 2022 SSRD presentation using the form below.

Questions or concerns should be directed to Mary Martin at memartin2@willamette.edu.
