The Public Health-Health Ethics, Advocacy, and Leadership Program cordially invites you to a research presentation.

The presentation will be "Healthy & Equitable Transportation in the Context of a Changing Climate" by Nicole Iroz-Elardo, Ph.D., assistant research professor of planning, at the University of Arizona.

Dr. Iroz-Elardo has spent more than a decade creating tools to help public health and urban planning professionals talk to each other in pursuit of a more healthy and sustainable future. In this lecture, she will share examples of what it takes to incorporate health equity into transportation planning. Dr. Iroz-Elardo will also discuss how supporting healthy transportation habits like walking, biking and taking transit require designing for thermal comfort in an increasingly warmer world.
