Author Emilly Prado - Sept. 21

Contact: @willamette.edu

This prep-turned-chola-turned-punk shares her journey as the keynote for Latinx Heritage Month.

Emilly Prado retraces her experience coming of age in this collection that is one-part memoir-in-essays, and one-part playlist, zigzagging across genres and decades, much like the rapidly changing and varied tastes of her youth. Prado talks about her journey as a first generation college student and working artist.
