Music and Storytelling: Black Belt Eagle Scout

Free performance Tuesday at 6 p.m. in The Bistro by Indigenous artist Katherine Paul.

Join Pacific Northwest musician Katherine Paul aka Black Belt Eagle Scout for an intimate performance and talk in The Bistro on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 6 p.m.

There is also a lunchtime performance on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Mediatheque at PNCA. Free lunch provided for students.

The artist grew up on the Swinomish Indian Reservation in Northwest Washington state, learning to play piano, guitar and drums in their adolescent years. The powwows and songs their grandfather and grandmother sang with family in their drum group shapes how Black Belt Eagle Scout creates music — with passion and from the heart.
