After a competitive national search, I am pleased to announce that Leah Straley has been hired as the new Dean of Graduate Admissions.
Leah has held the position of Assistant Dean of Admissions at Willamette University College of Law since 2019. During her time in this role, she implemented new strategies to improve student quality, diversity, and consistently exceeded goals in a highly competitive environment. She helped develop and implement direct admissions programs and redesigned financial aid leading to improved student satisfaction and retention. She also was instrumental in improving the positioning and ranking of the College of Law.
Prior to Willamette, Leah worked as the Assistant Director Recruitment and Outreach, at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. She has both MBA and JD degrees, along with significant experience in higher education marketing and admissions.

This position will be a vital part of the Enrollment Management Division focusing on best practices in the marketing and recruitment of prospective graduate students. We are very excited to have her as part of the team and are looking forward to working with her.
