The Office of Spiritual and Religious life recognizes Imbolc, which begins on the evening of the first of February and ends on the evening of Feb. 2.
The old Celtic name is Imbolc, but it is also known as "Candlemas" and the "Feast of Light." Celebrating the first signs of spring, like the crocus, and the return of the sun. “A time for reflection upon the generative power of the gods.”
