Global Day of Service is a day that Willamette University students, faculty and alumni all over the world come together to do service in our respective communities. These service projects typically range from cleaning up parks to helping with our local food pantries.
This year, we plan to have our Global Day of Service on April 8 which is a Saturday, tentatively scheduled for 10 a.m.-3 p.m. We are still in the process of planning this event, so more details will be forthcoming.
There are a number of ways in which you and your organization can participate in this event:
- Volunteer to coordinate an experience with a community partner you already volunteer with
- Volunteer to coordinate an experience with a community partner we have already made arrangements with
- Recruit your group members to commit to signing up for a project that will be coordinated by someone else
