The planned power outage scheduled for this summer that was announced in a previous edition of Today@Willamette has been rescheduled to summer 2024 to allow more time to plan for the shut down and to build extra time cushion in the project schedule. There will not be a planned power outage this summer.
The project’s new tentative schedule will require electricity to be shut off in the following buildings and that they remain completely closed and locked from May 21, 2024 to June 10, 2024:
- Collins Science Center, (Olin Science Center power will not be shut off)
- Waller Hall,
- Eaton Hall,
- Smullin-Walton Halls,
- Doney Hall,
- Lausanne Hall,
- Smith Auditorium, including FAE & FAW
