We invite graduating undergraduate and graduate level from any school, all Willamette University students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, family, or other supporters of our graduating students who would like to participate in Black and Brown Joy and/or Lavender Graduation celebrations in May. Black and Brown Joy celebrates our BIPOC graduates and Lavender Graduation celebrates our LGBTQ+ graduates. Yes, you can attend both!
If you are a graduating senior that identifies with these affinity groups, please register by April 21 to participate. If you are attending as a guest, RSVP by April 25.
- Salem Lavender Graduation will occur on Monday, May 15 at 11 a.m. in Cat Cavern
- PNCA Black and Brown Joy will occur on Tuesday, May 16 at 12:30 p.m. in Lemelson Innovation Studio
- PNCA Lavender Graduation will occur on Wednesday, May 17 at 12:30 p.m. in Lemelson Innovation Studio
- Salem Black and Brown Joy will occur on Friday, May 19 at 4 p.m. in Cat Cavern
Again, the registration deadline is Friday, April 21 for graduates and the RSVP deadline is Tuesday, April 25 for guests.
Events are coordinated by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Gender Resource & Advocacy Center, and the Office of Student Life at PNCA.
