Nicholas Athari joined us as the Assistant Director of Student Affairs on Monday, August 19th. Their primary location is the PNCA campus, where they are the ArtHouse live-in professional staff overseeing residence life and operations. They will also lead campus-wide program planning and community-building initiatives, student leadership development, and other student engagement efforts.
Originally from the Mohawk Valley in New York, Nicholas is excited to return to the West Coast. Their career has taken them across the country, including a role as a Linguistic Analyst at Accenture in the Bay Area. Most recently, he served as a Residential Coordinator at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, where they were dedicated to understanding and supporting students' needs and passions. He holds a BA in Linguistics from the University at Buffalo.
In addition to their professional pursuits, Nicholas spends hours exploring different languages and how they function. They have a passion for cooking, love all kinds of animals, and are eager to explore the beautiful nature in the Pacific Northwest. Nicholas loves being involved in people's lives and is always ready to offer his help to anyone who needs it.
