Dr. Jo Kozuma is a veteran educator in the field of international education. She has held faculty and administrative positions in higher education both in Japan and in the United States. She is experienced in leading efforts in a multidisciplinary work environment that is composed of multilingual and multicultural constituents. Dr. Kozuma works in collaboration with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders, and is responsible for creating and maintaining effective international engagements and special programs at the university level.

Dr. Kozuma is happy to have this opportunity to work with international students and help them achieve their educational goals at Willamette. She calls it a privilege to be part of their international journey as the students and scholars strengthen their motivation to pursue their study abroad dream, gain academic knowledge, and increase their linguistic and cultural capital.

After spending her childhood bouncing around different military bases in the Pacific, she calls Florida home. She is obsessed with dachshunds and her favorite color is yellow.
