BS Degrees & BS/MS in Data Science

Admission Requirements

BS in Data Science or Computer Science

Willamette University is test-optional for students interested in studying data science at the undergraduate level, and we use the Common Application to streamline the process.

Our application opens in August and we have early action and early decision deadlines in November. Willamette’s regular decision deadline is in January. Required components for an application include the Common Application, official high school transcript, and school report form and counselor recommendation. SAT or ACT scores and teacher evaluations are optional. Please indicate that data science is an academic interest when you complete the Common Application. View deadlines and additional information about applying to Willamette University.

Our job is to help you be successful in your college search, so if you have any questions, please contact your admission counselor.

3+1 BS/MS in Data Science

In addition to the undergraduate application requirements, students interested in earning the 3+1 BS/MS in data science should contact Professor Jameson Watts early in their first year at Willamette University.
