Ah, the joys of fall! The trees donning their fall colors, brisk mornings, pumpkin spice lattes, and.... the return of flu season. Say boo to the flu by getting your flu shot! It takes about 2 weeks after getting your vaccine for your body to develop antibody levels that are protective against the flu, so now is a great time.
Upcoming Student Flu Vaccine Clinics (Salem):
- Tuesday, 10/8/24 from 4:30-6pm @ the Montag Den (open to all students)
- Wednesday, 10/9/24 from 4:30-6pm @ the Kaneko Atrium (open to Kaneko residents)
- Thursday, 10/10/24 from 4:30-6pm @ Lausanne main floor lounge (for Westside campus residents)

- Wednesday 10/16 from 9:30am-1pm @ PNCA (Lemelson, open to all students)
Cost:
- FREE for students with SHIP (student insurance plan through PacificSource)
- FREE for 1st 100 residential students on Salem campus (sponsored by the Salem Residence Hall Association)
- $30 (for all other students; charged to student account)
Important Notes:
- Students can call Bishop at (503)370-6062 to schedule an appointment for a flu vaccine as well.
- Students who are not enrolled on SHIP can get a free flu vaccine through their insurance by visiting a local pharmacy for a flu vaccine. Check online as you may be able to pre-schedule an appointment with your pharmacist.
