Kaneko A wing consists of 4 floors, split into east and west wings of the building. Rooms are all doubles, and have a closet, wide shelf storage, and bureaus connected to the bed frame. Many rooms have balconies where student can hang out with their roommates and neighbors. Kaneko also has a large atrium, piano, with ping pong and pool tables. Kaneko also houses the STEM Fellows and Lavender Communities. There are laundry rooms on 2nd and 3rd floor of A Wing as well as lounges. Kaneko B and C Wing are attached by a corridor. The rooming options include: doubles, singles, shared singles, suites and apartments with either adjoined or private bathrooms. Apartment residents must be juniors or seniors and are responsible for finding their own roommates.
Rooms are equipped for each individual with a standard-twin single bed, desk and chair, dresser, bookcase, lighting, blinds, data port, smoke detector, and closet space.
