There is still time to submit your Women of WU nominations

Contact: Lisa J Logan

Nominations are due Wednesday.

Please join the Gender Resource and Advocacy Center in celebrating Women's History Month through our annual Women of WU campaign as we feature women who have positively impacted our community through their storytelling and leadership.

The purpose of this project is to offer recognition, visual representation, and meaningful insight about leaders on our campus. These efforts will create a historical account of women who have impacted our community. This project continues each year, showcasing empowering leaders on our campus with hopes of inspiring others. We will incorporate the national theme, "Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories," into our selection process this year. As you are writing your nomination, keep the theme in mind. Especially consider nominating those use their unique gifts and skills to celebrate and/or support our community through various types of storytelling.

We are asking you for nominations of women in our campus community (students, staff, and faculty) who have positively impacted your experience at Willamette in a meaningful way. GRAC students and staff will select from nominees after this form closes, and then contact the nominees. Participants will be asked to contribute information about themselves which we will feature in our 5th annual Women of WU poster and social media campaign.

Please submit nominations via the google form below by Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 5 p.m.

Read the list of previous nominees at the link below to avoid nominating those who have already received the honor.
