Looking to get involved but not seeing any clubs that strike your fancy? Start one of your own! Find out how.

In order to start a club on the Salem Campus here at Willamette there are a few steps that need to happen.

1) Review current clubs and make sure the club you are looking to start does not already exist. See website link below

2) Meet with Student Engagement and Leadership staff

3) Identify your leadership for your club- minimally a president and treasurer are required

4) Find an advisor- must be a full-time faculty or staff. SEAL is working on creating a potential advisor list to help aid in this particular step

5) Complete the affiliation application that is linked on our website

6) Submit the application and respond to any correspondence from the ASWU Club Approval and Finance Board

7) Have the president and treasurer attend a Student Club and Organization Orientation NOTE: you can attend an orientation at any point in the affiliation process

Once you have completed all these steps and ASWU has approved your club you are officially registered. For further information check out the links below. Contac t Jodi Santillie with any questions.
