So, you've been tasked with installing ChemDraw on your personally owned computer, eh? Well, you've come to the right place. Just follow these instructions and you'll soon be contorting your cranium with a carbon-based cornucopia of creative chemical concoctions.

Follow this link to Willamette's Perkin-Elmer subscription site:

http://informatics.perkinelmer.com/sitesubscription/

Type "Willamette" in the search bar and click the blue Register button.

One of two things will happen:

(1) If you already Registered your email address with Perkin-Elmer in the past, use the "Click here to login" link next to "Existing User?"

(2) If you have not Registered previously, fill in the registration information and submit.

(3) You'll get an email from Perkin Elmer.  Set your password, sign in, and download the software for your specific OS.

After downloading and installing the software, you'll need the license code.  This used to be sent to you via email, but now it's more work....you have to:

(A) Click the link at the top of this page

(B) Follow step (1) as seen above

(C) Click "Order History" on the left-hand side of the screen

(D) Click the top item (ORD25701SL) in the list dated "Mar 26, 2019"

(E) Activation code is in the far right column; copy it and paste it into the Chemdraw Activation window and then ACTIVATE!

Hopefully you'll find organic chemistry easier than getting ChemDraw working :)

Feel free to email Jeff Allen (jlallen@willamette.edu) with any questions or issues regarding this process.
