- April 22, 2022: Closing of Spring ‘22 Term
With the end of the semester upon us, WEMS will cease operations at the conclusion of CAS classes and will be in service until Wednesday, April 28, at 8 am. WEMS is not in service during finals, nor over the summer. The Spring 2022 Semester Report will be available for viewing by the end of the academic year.
For students interested in joining WEMS, please reach out to wemsdirector@willamette.edu or visit our Join WEMS webpage for more information. It is WEMS' goal to offer at least one EMR certification course in the 2022-2023 academic year, though plans are not final and more details will be available later in this calendar year.

- January 18, 2022: Resuming Service for Spring 2022
Due to the university's imposition of a "quiet period," sending classes online and encouraging students to quarantine and limit contact, WEMS has decided in the interest of provider and community safety we will return to service at the conclusion of the quiet period.
WEMS will resume service beginning Sunday, January 30, at 5:00 pm.

We are also opening membership of our organization to any student interest in medicine or emergency services! More information about joining WEMS can be found on our Membership page.
- December 14, 2021: Fall 2021 Factsheet
Starting with the Fall 2021 semester, WEMS will publish a semester report or factsheet after the conclusion of each term. The factsheets will include detailed numbers and reports regarding the operation of the organization to be made publically available in the interest of transparency.

- October 19, 2021: Expanding Operating Hours
Effective Friday, October 29, 2021, WEMS will be expanding our operating hours from 48 hours over the weekends to a 7-day-per-week schedule. We will be in service 24 hours during weekends and from 5pm to 8am on weekdays. This new schedule aligns with being in service when Bishop Wellness Center is closed.
