- Open Finder
- In the top menu bar, Click Go, then click Connect to Server
- In the "Server Address" space, type: smb://groupfiles.willamette.edu/nameofdeptshare (where 'nameofdeptsshare' is the path to the specific department share EX. smb://groupfiles.willamette.edu/wits)
- Save this mapping by clicking the + to add it to your favorites list
- Click Connect
- Click Registered User
- Enter your Username and Password (no @willamette.edu after your username)
- Click Connect
Troubleshooting Suggestions
- Some personal firewall software and other similar security utilities have been known to interfere with the ability to map network drives. If you have such software installed and are having problems accessing network drives, try disabling the software.
